So Microsoft issued the latest software update to their Zune players yesterday and it’s packed with some nifty features. Along with three new games, it adds social sharing and media upgrades that’ll kick your Zune into the next world. The games include Sudoku, Checkers, and Space Battle. An update to the poker game as well is included. We tested the software update to an older first generation Zune and it worked like a charm. Now with podcasts, games, and social media support, it actually goes beyond the iPod for features. It should be interesting to see how this portable player war continues…
